Quiet Blog...

I will be away from the blog for a week or so............it will be quiet here. But stay tuned.............because when I begin blogging again I will have another giveaway................

Congratulations!

Congrats go out to Joan Shanks for the Cosmo spinners, randomly chosen by Randomizer.org! You are the winner....send me your mailing address!

More peeks of Cosmo!

Here are a couple more peeks of projects I created using Cosmo Cricket's new releases!
First you will see a photo of the lovely Julie Comstock all decked out in beach gear using the new snorkel collection! I try to do one item for each show that is fun like that, because the Cosmo Cricket folks are fun! Last show I created a little altered bi-plane and put Lindsay in the cockpit. So I decided this time I would do something fun for Julie. Isn't she fashionable?
Next you will see that I created a little altered item office set using the new Girl Friday collection. The colors are bright and fun in this collection and so girly! I think this is my favorite release of all!
Remember to leave a comment in the post below by noon today CST and I will draw a winner and post early this afternoon!

Enjoying the sneak peeks?

So is everyone enjoying the sneak peeks I am posting? Today I am posting the last of my Gluefoil projects! Remember to scroll down to the giveaway post and enter to win!
The Amore box is made with the Heidi Grace Valentine line along with some painted and embossed glue foil inside cut out area of the cover. I also took my die cut machine and cut out leaves to surround this open area of the cover. It is amazing the look that GlueFoil adds to your projects!
The journal that I created using GlueFoil has a beautiful copper butterfly! I embossed the butterfly and then used my two way glue pen to make the raised swirls sticky and then applied some ultra fine glitter. I also added a small punched flower in the center of the ribbon bow. You will also notice a fun spinner on the bottom right. I used my Fiskars Paper Edger scallop scissors to cut around the outside edge to make the spinner more decorative.
There is so much you can do with GlueFoil! Remember to post in the giveaway thread below so you have a chance to win some gluefoil packages!
Tomorrow I begin the Cosmo Cricket sneak peeks..............and I just might have a little something special to giveaway from Cosmo Cricket as well...

And more to come!

Here is another peek of a project I did using GlueFoil. I wanted to do something masculine and totally different! So I rolled pieces of GlueFoil and placed them on this pencil cup and then created a GlueFoil design to place on the top. You can easily cut GlueFoil with just a regular pair of scissors!

Remember to follow the instructions in the post below for your chance to win some GlueFoil

I wanted to show how well and even the GlueFoil embosses so I creating this apple wall hanging to show off the texture and dimension of the foil. I'm back! With project peeks!

Ok, I think I've just completed my last CHA project.....whew! You have seen my designs for the Fiskars booths and at this CHA I will have my projects in two other booths which are Streuter Technologies and Cosmo Cricket!

The project I am posting now is one that I did for Streuter using their GlueFoil. I was so excited to be asked to do some work for Streuter and could hardly wait to try out the GlueFoil. I received some copper and aluminum to work with. Well, I am hooked. GlueFoil is very light weight and on one side it contains a special adhesive that when heated lightly with an iron or heat gun melts and adheres to your project. It is the most amazing thing! My favorite thing to do so far has been embossing on it! Man, what a great look.
On this particular piece you can see where I embossed, painted over the entire thing with paint, let it dry, and then lightly sanded revealing the copper embossed surface underneath! The front of each drawer is copper GlueFoil, there is also some on the top and then again down the sides as well as some trim. Here is the website so you can take a look at the product.

If you have any questions about GlueFoil just leave a comment and I am happy to answer them! If you are headed to CHA make sure you stop by the Streuter booth #1235 and tell Rebecca that I sent you!
Stop in again tomorrow for another sneak peek as well as a nice little giveaway surprise!
I've got lots to show and something very special to giveaway..............

CHA!!!

Well in a couple of weeks many crafters will head to Anaheim, California for the annual winter Craft and Hobby Association trade show. This is a buying show for retailers so they can walk the floor and decide which items they will order to sell in their store. While I will not be attending the show I have been very busy preparing projects to ship to the manufacturers I work with to display in their booths.
I always love this time of year and love being busy! It is such a trill to see the new releases and get to create something that will inspire folks when they walk into each booth.
Since this is a show for retailers many of you are not able to attend. So I thought I would share a little piece of what I am creating for the show with each of you. As each manufacturer I design for allows me to release the projects I've created, I will be posting them on my blog!
Today I start with the designs I have created for Fiskars! If you are a Fiskateer, you have most likely already seen some of these sneak peeks on the Fiskateer blog. They have released some amazing new lines along with a lot of awesome new tools! So today on my blog you will see what I have created using the brand new Heidi Grace Forever love line. Let me know what you think of the new papers and embellishments by posting a comment.
Stop by tomorrow for another new release from Fiskars!
