Cosmo Cricket Classes

Hello!

I am so very excited to be teaching some upcoming Cosmo Cricket classes at the Scrapbook Studio in Wausau, WI. The two photos above are sneak peeks of the two classes I will be teaching in May and June.

The last Cosmo Cricket classes I taught were at a large convention in Minneapolis and out of 5 classes with 200 total seats available, all sold out within 10 minutes of registration opening! So you can see how wildly popular they are! Tomorrow (April 29) is class kick off at the studio and you will want to make sure you stop by for the preview to sign up and hold your seat. If you cannot make it to the class kick off event, then just make sure to call Jeanne at the Studio and sign up over the phone so you don't miss out.

Cosmo Cricket is one of the hottest companies out there in the Scrapbooking world and is owned by some fantastic folks. If you don't believe me, just visit the Cosmo Cricket blog. They are so much fun and just all around great people! A company I am very proud to be designing and teaching for!

I will also give you a link below to the Cosmo Cricket website so you can browse the awesome product they have offered over the past 2 years. In the Wausau classes we will be using the brand new Get Happy and Fleuriste collections. So Wausau, you are getting some of the hottest classes with the latest releases from Cosmo Cricket!

If we get a great response from Central Wisconsin, I will gladly come back to do more Cosmo Cricket classes! Make sure to get signed up today!

See you in Wausau!

Spring creating/blogging

I am apparently not very good at spring blogging with all my focus on raking, shoveling, weeding, organizing and all the other things I have been outside doing. This also means of course that I am not creating as much and do not have as many projects to post. So I am guessing for awhile my blogging and creating will be saved for rainy days!

Plus my 4 year old is in a dance recital this weekend and she has to rehearsals this week, plus family is coming for the performance this weekend so that means house cleaning for me as well!

Anyway, don't give up on me..............I just am a bit busy right now................check back soon and I will have something new to post. I promise!

Changing weather!!!

Well, the weather is finally changing her in Wisconsin and I think we might actually be getting a glimpse of spring! We had 3 days in a row this week that were in the 60's and I spent most of those 3 days outside doing garage and yard projects. I still have a lot to do out there, but at least I have a start thanks to the wonderful weather. Now we have a couple of days of rain so it is back to inside projects and catching up on my blogging!

So here is one little fun inside project my daughter and I did! This weekend I will be spending quite a bit of time working in my scrapbook room. I am teaching a class for Clear Scraps at the Scrapbook Expo in Chicago this August and it is time to begin planning that class. The class will be an entire album will full instructions to complete it. If you have not tried an acrylic album before and you plan to attend the Expo in Chicago this will be a great class to take, filled with techniques that you will be able to use over and over again on clear acrylics.

If I am posting less on the blog you will know we have some warm weather days again where I am busy outside getting things in tip top shape for summer!

Scrappy weekend

First of all I want to say that yesterday I became a certified Fiskars demonstrator! That's right, I headed to Madison, Wisconsin to Fiskars headquarters where Maya and Nikki spent some time on a Saturday to make sure myself and 9 other Wisconsin Fiskateers were trained! It was so great spending some time with fellow Fiskateers and learning how to use so many awesome Fiskars tools!

Today I spent some time in my scrapbook room creating another class I will be teaching soon. Maybe I will post a sneak peek of it when I am done so make sure you check back!

Sneak Peek

Ok, as promised I am going to post a sneak peek of one of the Cosmo Cricket classes I am going to be teaching at the Scrapbook Studio in Wausau, WI. Anyone interested in the classes should post a comment and I will get you more information if you like!

This is a mini vacation album that measures 4"x6" and is made with the Cosmo Cricket Get Happy line. The colors are bright and overall it is a very fun line to work with. So many possibilities. I've already used this line to create Disney layouts as well as using it to showcase my preschoolers artistic talents. The possibilities are endless!

So once you open up this album you will find lots of fun! It is very interactive as there are things that flip, pull and open. You can fit 12 photos inside along with plenty of journaling. Who would think such a little album could hold so much, but you will see how if you take the class!

Nope, I didn't forget about my blog! I have been pretty busy creating two classes I will be teaching at the Scrapbook Studio up in Wausau, Wisconsin. They are both Cosmo Cricket classes and I will be doing them in May and June! Soon I will post a little teaser for you on the blog so stay tuned for that!

New Project

First I must tell you what a great time I had this past weekend cropping with my friends. We chatted, ate way too much, and I didn't get anywhere near the amount of pages done I would have liked. But I really needed that adult time and time to create with others. Anyway, we decided we would try to get together and do that more often!

The photo is my latest project, I hope you enjoy! I used a Clear Scraps baby word album, Basic Grey Sugared collection, Glitz Designs bling, Zip dry, and StazOn inks. Nothing better than a precious little baby album!
