Oh! I've been trying to find a gypsy that would fit my budget. Alas, they are still too expensive for me. So here's hoping I can win one so I can finally start creating on the run (especially waiting in the carpool lane at school). Also, when I convert my cut files to gypsy files sometimes those pesky shapes just don't stay where they're supposed to. Oh! to be able to fix them before sharing would be a treat!

I admit that I am not even aware of all that the gypsy can do. For instance - could I cut out a pink ribbon, aka breast cancer awareness symbol? If so, I would be cutting out a WHOLE bunch for the Susan G Komen fundraisers I am working on. It would be SO helpful for next years fundraisers.
For starters, however, I would probably cut out a lot of different things, explore it's capabilities and make cards.

Hi I think what I would make is a connection. Because this will expand the creative ability, but also connect with a niece who can't afford this. Yep, maybe a connection is a physical item but it can be so much more. My niece is reconnecting with her son in a almost 6 year struggle to his mommy every day. I got her a cricut and just recently the Toy Story so that she and her son cancreate a scrapbook about his daddy who he really doesn't know. His daddy passed away in a car accident several years ago. My niece has recently had court ordered visits with her son and just recently shared stories and pictures of daddy with her son and celebrated his birthday just this past weekend. this would make so many connections.
