Another peek and a giveaway!

Ok, I am posting another peek of one of the CHA booth projects I made using Streuter GlueFoil!

I wanted to show how well and even the GlueFoil embosses so I creating this apple wall hanging to show off the texture and dimension of the foil. I also used my fiskars round n' round squeeze punches to create a scalloped design for around the outside edges. Yes----you can use your punches with gluefoil! Again, if you are at CHA stop by their booth so you can see it in person!

Now for the giveaway! Today I am giving away (courtesy of Streuter Technologies) one package of copper and one package of aluminum GlueFoil! That is right...........you have the chance to win. Follow these instructions to win!

Post a comment on this thread telling me one way you would use GlueFoil on any type of project. Next have at least 3 of your friends come to my blog and do the same, also using your screen name in their post to give you credit. Everyone who sends three friends to post giving them credit will be entered to win! So you post, send 3 friends to post giving you credit and you are entered! I will randomly choose a winner on Monday!

What a fabulous project Lisa! I love it! I think I would use it by running it through my Cuttlebug and then punching shapes with punches!

Super project Lisa! I've enjoyed playing with foil in the past -but its been a long time! I love taking a flame to it to change the color - it's particularly gorgeous on coppy (have not tried it on silver) - and then punch shapes with it or cover chipboard shapes - of course!! (have a vision of a Magistical Memories spaceship or rocket covered with this foil - oh my!)

Great project. Love the colors. I think that I would use it embossed on a card or punch out some butterflies from Fiskars new spring squeeze punches, or...

It looks like very interesting stuff. I would use it to decorate some wood scissors that I have. Tona sent me to this site.

Wow that wall hanging is just great. I would use the foil for a wall project. I always wanted to do a clock, one because I need a clock and two because I want to display my hobby on my walls. Anyway, now I have to hunt down some friends. May not be easy.

Oops -- forgot to say how I would use it! I think it would be fun to write or doodle on it, and cover chipboard shapes.

I think I'd try to use this with our sizzix embossing pieces. It would be a nice addition to a scrapbook page or maybe even a scrapbook album cover.

My mom, gayles1, sent me over! I like your pencil cup example in the next entry.

I need to go find some friends. I love glue foil. I like the sample that Robin Beam made for the last CHA. I think I would love to create an art object and distress it. It looks great distressed.

Debby told me to come here and leave a comment :) I think I'd use the gluefoil to make something for my new craft room.

Hi Lisa!
Have fun at CHA (and it's warmer there!)
I would use it in my boys scrapbooks - I think it is a nice 'boy' touch - as I don't have anything to emboss it with, I would probably scallop punch and use behind the title. (your apple project looks great btw!)

Debby asked me to come for her. I think glue foil would make beautiful Christmas ornaments.

Hello! Well....of course I would need to do a jewelry project with it! I am thinking that I would take the vintage game pieces that I have and cover those with the glue foil and then using inks or paints to highlight the recessed areas giving it an aged appearance. Then I would solder an edge on it for a totally rockin' look! Enjoy the day! Erin

Hi, Debbie sent me. I've never heard of gluefoil, so I'm not sure how I'd use it, but looking at your example, I'm sure I'd find a way. Gotta love Debbie, she's always introducing me to new stuff!

I don't know how to use this product but it looks fantastic and if Debby (who sent me) wins, she will show me how to use it, I'm sure. lol
