While I am away over the next week I will be doing several giveaways on my blog. All winner will be chosen next week after I return from my trip! I'm not sure if I will get to it Tuesday, but I will Wednesday for sure!
So for today I am going to give one lucky winner this entire set of alphas. There are epoxy, cardstock, and rub on alphas in this bunch. One winner will take them all. What do you need to do? This one is going to be competitive....the person that sends the most friends over to post on my blog will be the winner. You must post on my blog thread, not my facebook page.
In the event there is a tie, I will randomly choose from all the people who tie. So monitor this thread to see how many people are coming and leaving your name. You can link from your blog or Facebook page, but the person needs to leave a post here saying you sent them.

Birthday pictures
My youngest daughter turned 6 years old this past Friday. Wow, where in the world is the time going? So off to school I went with birthday treat in hand. Talk about a continual sugar rush, they went right from the birthday celebration to the Valentine's party. It was a very fun afternoon though and I managed to snap a couple of pictures. Now I have to print some of these out and get them in her birthday album as well as her school album!

Christmas......again?
No, it really isn't Christmas again, I promise. I just figured as long as I had my Graphic 45 Domestic Goddess out I may as well pull the Christmas Past collection off my shelf too and create something fun with that as well. So a card it is!
One of my favorite things to do on vintage style papers, especially the ephemera is to use some 2 way glue and sprinkle ultra fine prisma glitter on top. This piece is done with the glitter to give the effect of snowflakes falling down. I've also added a bit of ribbon and a teardrop shaped pearl.
Ok, that is it for today! It is my youngest daughter's birthday and I've got some things to do before heading off to school for lunch, to deliver her birthday treat, and to stay on to be a parent helper for the Valentines party this afternoon!
Happy Valentine's weekend to each and everyone of you!

New Project
Above is one of my latest projects! I created this recipe box using the Graphic 45 Domestic Goddess collection. I just love vintage things! They have so much character and charm. There is something about working with vintage type items that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Anyway, I've been in love with Graphi45 for quite some time now and finally found some in a Scrapbook store a couple of hours from my house and decided it was time to get it off the shelf and create something fun!
So, do you like creating with vintage style items?

Let's Talk Tools!
So I was giving a lot of thought today about tools. All of the many tools we use in our paper crafting. I think we all have a favorite tool, or maybe a tool we don't think we could do without? Below I am going to share a list and beside each item I am going to match a tool based on my preference. Next I want YOU to take the list and do the same and post in the comment section of this blog thread. I am really anxious to see how everyone's list turns out. So lets get started-
Lisa's Tool List
Favorite Tool- Crop-a-dile
Tool I couldn't live with out- Paper Piercer
Tool I use the most for non-scrapping projects around my house- Making Memories eyelet hammer
Favorite scissors- Cutter Bee
Punch I use the most- Fiskars Oopsie Daisy flowers
Favorite Circle cutting tool- EK Success Curvy cutter (there are a few others out there I would like to try but have not yet)
Ok, now it is your turn! Complete you list and add to the comments below this thread. Don't be shy, I want to hear from everyone!

Another layout!!!
Here is another layout I wanted to share of my 5 year old daughter at the Pumpkin patch. We have the best pumpkin patch in the world near us. So many fun activities they have set up there from an area you can have a hay fight to a haunted house, goats and sheep, a pumpkin launching machine, hay rides, corn maze, and the list goes on. It is a fun day when we go.
So leave me a comment and let me know if you have a Pumpkin patch near you and what it is like!

Funny Layout
Last year about this time we were in Disney World. Don't worry, it really wasn't all that warm while we were there so you didn't miss much. Only Mickey!
Anyway, we decided this trip to try the Disney 50's Prime Time Cafe. Good comfort food there such as pot roast, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, etc. But it was also fun! The waitresses are pretty direct and can be kind of rude. (in a fun way) For example they spout off right away about keeping elbows off the table, using your silverware, your manners, etc. So at one point my husband forgot and put his elbows on the table. I told on him and the waitress said to me in a sing songy voice, "tattletail, tattletail." It was all fun!
So anyway she stopped later with this napkin dunce cap for my husband that she made that said "no elbows." I had to get a picture. So finally I created a layout of our experience there and here it is!
Let me know if you have ever eaten here and what your experience was like or if you have eaten at a similar kind of place and your story. I'd love to hear! Bonus of course if you have a layout of the experience, just post a link along with your story!
