What is so special about March?

Well, besides the fact that it is getting closer to the big thaw...........it is National Craft month! Any of you who know me know that my whole life for as long as I can remember is all about crafting. My parents are crafters and well, I was immersed in it! There are so many fun things going on all over the internet to celebrate and why should my blog be any different!

To celebrate national craft month I want to give something away. I have created a wonderful little prize package and here is what you have to do to win it! Leave a message after this post with a link to your favorite craft project. It can be anything, not just Paper Crafting. So if you are a quilter or knitter or painter, makes no difference. I just want to see what you do, be inspired by your work.

At the end of March I will come back to this post and randomly choose one person that has posted to win the prize pictured. So send your friends, relatives, neighbors, and everyone else over to post and inspire me!

Happy National Craft month!

Hi Lisa! You know that my preferred craft is jewelry design, and my own website will be my favorite (not ready yet), but one source of inspiration for me is Belle Armoire Jewelry. You can check out some of the pages from the latest issue at http://www.stampington.com/html/ba_jewelry_sp08.html
I haven't received my copy yet, but I see many things that will inspire me...and I am hoping to have something I create in those pages in the next year! Enjoy the day! Erin

Hi, I love your scrapbooking, Wow, you are so talented. The princess book is great. One suggestion, why not allow your daughter to have her own scrapbook. I have done that with both of my girls and it is done entirely by them with leftover pictures and their own handwriting. I did have to help them spell a few words. It is great to have their take on something.
Anyway, I have some of my projects posted on my blog, along with real life. Feel free to visit and scroll around looking for projects. www.flathers.blogspot.com
otherwise there are some posted in my gallery on fiskateers. I am number 2970.

Thanks for sharing your blog.

My favorite craft project is my current one. Not because it is fun. It's not. But because I plan to get lots of use out of it. I am converting an office/storage room into a craft room. I'm almost done. Here is a pic:

This was my favorite project. Being a Pittsburgh girl, the death of Myron Cope was a very sad time. I did this memorial page for my 2008 scrapbook. I hope you like it. =D

Unlike my mom and her brothers and sisters I have only one passion and that is scrapbooking. I can sew costumes and stuffed dolls, but it is more a "have to" than a "want to." My passion is preserving the memories. Here's one of my favorites right now.

What a great RAK! I love all the goodies in your picture! My favorite crafting is paper crafting. I have way too many favorites to post here, so I picked one of my "on the wall" canvas layouts to inspire you. I love playing with canvas and encourage everyone to try it at least once! http://www2.fiskateers.com/portal/index.html?ctrl:id=window.default.MediaGalleryWindowA&ctrl:type=render&ctrl:windowstate=maximized&op=vpic&user=1781&ccomm=1&offset=12&cPicId=8496
